Description

Accompanied by pastries and tea or coffee, the big-screen screening will showcase the audiovisual works of filmmakers Alethea Arnaquq-Baril, Raymond Caplin, Terrance Houle, Barbara Kaneratonni Diabo, Katherine Nequado, Kijâtai-Alexandra Veillette-Cheezo and Wayne Wapeemukwa. This will be followed by a discussion with some of the artists and the audio description team.

Bringing together over 90 Canadian works from the 1960s to the present day, the Regards Hybrides Collection offers a unique journey through a multitude of approaches, at the intersection of dance and cinema. New additions are made over the course of the months to stimulate the public’s curiosity and enhance the platform’s offering. Audio description of the dance-film works is made possible through a collaboration between the Regards Hybrides Collection and Danse-Cité, with support from the Canada Council for the Arts.
