Lancement — Audiodescription de 7 oeuvres de la collection Regards Hybrides

The Collection Regards Hybrides and Danse-Cité have joined forces to provide audio description in French and English for seven short dance films. Blind and partially sighted people, as well as anyone else interested, are invited to attend the special screening, which will take place in French on Saturday 25 April in Montreal.

Accompanied by pastries and tea or coffee, the big-screen screening will showcase the audiovisual works of directors Alethea Arnaquq-Baril, Raymond Caplin, Terrance Houle, Barbara Kaneratonni Diabo, Katherine Nequado, Kijâtai-Alexandra Veillette-Cheezo and Wayne Wapeemukwa. It will be followed by a discussion with some of the artists and the audio description team.

Practical informations

  • Event schedule:

10.00 am — Doors open
10.30 am — Screening, including a 15-minute interval
11.50 am — Discussion with the artists and audio describers
12.40 pm — Closing
